Bega-Littleton Travel Award for 2008

A trainee in the Works department of the Bega Valley Shire Council, Kirstie Brown, has received financial assistance for a trip to the United States later this year.

As the winner of the Bega-Littleton Travel Award for 2008, Kirstie will be accompanying the Bega Valley delegation to the Shire’s Sister City, Littleton in Colarado, in August.
This week she accepted a cheque for $500 towards here expenses on the trip from Council and Sertec. Kirstie is employed by Sertec and her host employeer is Council.
She is currently completing her Certificate 3 in Local Government Operational Works.
Council & Sertec each contributed $250 towards the payment.
