Bega Valley Shire Council will celebrate International Day of People with Disability with an Ideas Expo on Thursday and Friday, December 3 and 4, in the Merimbula RSL Club.

The Ideas Expo will showcase mire than 35 suppliers of equipment and services and major organisations that help support people with disability, older people, their carers and families. It is the biggest disability expo on the South Coast.

The Expo will be open from 11am to 5pm on the Thursday and from 10am to 4pm on the Friday.

Entry is free and there will be a free bus moving round the shire to get you there and home again.

Mayor Tony Allen will open the event at 11am on Thursday, December 3, and FLING Physical Theatre company will entertain on both days of the Expo at 11.30am to celebrate inclusion and access for all.

Everyone is invited to go along and join the celebration, enjoy the performance, attend a workshop and pick some handy information.
