Volunteer of the Year Award

August 14, 2007: There is an outstanding opportunity to recognise many of the volunteers in our community at a state level.
The Council is supporting the inaugural NSW Volunteer of the Year Award.
These awards are conducted on a regional basis, with ceremonies taking place in October. Those successful there will go on to the state final.
We have said it many times, but our community has outstanding volunteers and these awards would be a fantastic recognition of the time and commitment people give in helping others.
Council would encourage people take the time to look at the criteria for the NSW Volunteer of the Year Award at www.volunteering.com.au
